I have started following along with Project.12‘s monthly themes.  It’s such a great challenge to create these fun sessions specifically for my own family! I get lots of candids around the house, but it’s fun to actually plan and execute a session just for us and have these precious, beautiful memories to treasure!  Last month we did a water theme that I plan to use for some new wall art in my bathroom.  The theme for June is BRIDGES, and I was down to the wire.  I had a fun idea, but two problems:  1. I couldn’t find a creek and 2. I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to convince my husband to roll up his jeans and “fish” with a stick and some yarn.  Well, I went to scout out the local yard sales last weekend, and happened upon the PERFECT spot.  The only drawback: it was near a busy highway, which meant people driving by and looking (cute!) and even less likelihood that I would be able to convince my husband to take part.

Well, it wouldn’t hurt to ask, right?  Amazingly, Ken agreed to take part, and he was a jolly good sport pretty much the whole time… as long as I could pull it off in 20 minutes or less.  🙂  So, here it is.  Some great daddy-son time, and at the end I jumped in for that one last shot.
