When they told me they wanted to do their family photos on family ranch land in beautiful northern California, I nearly squealed with excitement!
This beautiful mom has been a friend to me since I was 4 years old – and now our children are the ages we were when we first met! What an incredible privilege it is to tell this story of the littlest guy’s first trip out to the family ranch and on top of it all, a special announcement of a new little brother or sister on the way!
The only way I could make it out to the place where we wanted to do pictures was to hitch a ride in the family 4×4 truck. My little compact car would never have made it out there! But this provided the opportunity to get some great shots along the ride in.
We gathered rocks, blew bubbles, threw sticks, even had some nerf gun battles. What a beautiful family, and beautiful memories made today.
