I had my first newborn photography experience when the amazing Megan from “A Beautiful Moment” Photography by Megan gifted me with a free newborn session because I gave birth to my baby while my husband, a US Marine, was serving our country in Afghanistan. I treasure each and every image she blessed me with. My little boy is now 1 year old and growing so fast, but I have his newborn pictures displayed on our walls so I will never forget those precious first few days with him. My husband never got to experience those first precious days with our son, but he has these images to record those special moments for him! Needless to say, from that day a year ago when my son was born, newborn photography has had a special place in my heart. I am so excited to have embarked on my own journey to become a professional photographer, and this past weekend I had my very first newborn sessions! I was beyond excited!
My very first newborn was this sweet Ella and her beautiful family. It was pure joy to capture some of these memories of Ella’s precious newness at 10 days old, and my day was made when she smiled for this first image!
