My family spent a wonderful, quiet Christmas at home. We invited a few friends over to spend the afternoon/evening, but coming from a family of 10, it seemed really quiet to me! I have been so thankful for the time to rest and enjoy my family this holiday season. We had some family come to spend the last few days of 2012 with us, and then we rang in the New Year with a brand new face!
Aubrey Elizabeth wasn’t due until January, but she made her appearance before the end of 2012–just in time for a New Years Day newborn session! This little girl held out on sleep for HOURS, but she made up for it by flashing us several grins when she finally dozed off (only to wake again in a few minutes!)… BUT… look for the image below where she’s grinning for Daddy, and you’ll know what I mean! Total sweetness!
And I can’t forget her A-DOR-A-BLE big brother, Jack! He was an absolute angel, and I LOVED his big blue eyes! Mom looked so good I could hardly believe she just had a baby 9 days ago. Goodness, this is just one gorgeous family!
